2010 University of Colorado Women's Club Soccer Tryouts

VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Thursday night at Franklin Field between 700p and 800p several players that were trying out had items stolen right from their bags. I suggest all players double check their bags and make sure you still have everything. Also, tomorrow during tryouts I suggest not leaving anything of value in your bags if you can help it, and lets also move our bags more toward midfield so that they can be watched better by everyone in the area, and kept away from the front gate. For those that had items stolen, we have contacted CU, and the CU Police Department and have filed a police report. We have a eye witness description of someone in the area who looked suspicious, and we also have a camera that is filming Franklin Field so the police are going to thoroughly investigate this theft. Players that had items stolen also have been asked by Officer Joshua Treutler to email him directly the items that you had stolen, and give him any other information you may have.  When you do so, you need to reference case #10-1994 in your email. joshua.treutler@colorado.edu.

Tryout business:

Thank you for your patience during our tryout selection process, the decisions being made are not easy. To any players that are not on the list below, we want to thank you very much for your interest in the CU Women's Club Soccer Program. All of our decisions are very difficult, and if we could find a place for you all to play we would, we just don't have the room for the amount of talented players trying out. Keep in mind we do many things in the offseason that you are all welcome to participate in such as indoor, spring kickarounds, summer leagues, and other activities. Also, remember that we are always striving to provide more players with a place to play in our program!!  We hope to see you all during the offseason and back again at tryouts next Fall.

Callbacks will be made to released players no later than Monday August 30th, at which time you will be expected to attend a training session. Please make yourself available by the phone number or email you left on your player info sheets. CALL BACKS CAN AND WILL BE MADE AS EARLY AS TODAY!! Also, please check this website throughout the tryout process, for any updated information regarding callbacks!!  We may enter your name back in the list, and follow up with a phone call.

Players that are injured and unable to tryout have been put on a seperate reserve list until the time in which they become healthy and are able to tryout. If you are on injured reserve, please let us know when you should be healthy, and we will set up a couple training sessions for you to come to.

The following players have been selected to one of our three teams for the 2010 season. If your name is on the list below, please head to Franklin Field at anytime starting now to sign up for your individual player meeting. At your meeting please be prepared to accept or deny your position on the team you made. Once you accept your spot we will need a check made out for $75 to CU Club Sports for your uniform deposit, and one check made out to CU Women's Club Soccer for $300 for your start up fees.
